Artist’s Note

Twenty years ago I wrote a letter I thought I had mailed, but only recently discovered it had been with me all along. It describes a space and works that strangely resemble mine today.

So here I am, checking in before moving on.

The exhibition will continue to change while it's open.
Part I focuses on light and writing; Part II on motion.

작가의 글

내가 20년전에 보냈던 편지 한 통이 계속 내게 남아 있었다는 것을 최근에야 알게 되었다. 우체국 소인이 찍힌, 분명히 발송된 편지였다. 그 안에는 지금의 내 작업과 공간을 닮은 장면들이 적혀 있었다.

이 전시는 그 편지를 계기로, 나의 현재와 이후를 점검해보는 개인적인 기록이다.

전시 기간 동안 작업과 배치는 계속 바뀐다.

1부는 빛과 글에, 2부는 움직임과 동력에 초점을 둔다.
